The Trough is the right place. 

Pretty much not, unless maybe you are the FBI and can request IPs from Yahoo!  Even then it's pretty dicey.  Maybe some hackers on here know tricks I don't...:D

Nope... nothing short of a supoena could get the info you need from yahoo to figure out who it is... and if the guy on the other end is good, he wouldn't have made that info traceable either.
