Doesn't look like Ben Moffitt, Ray Rice or Steve Slaton will make their squads. Kevin Smith is listed as first team for the Lions. I was hoping these guys would do well and send a statement that we are putting out quality players in the Big East.

Rice is better than K Smith. Smith couldn't run agaisnt us but Rice did a great job.

Adding up the 1st and 2nd team players on offense, defense and special teams, it just doesn't look like he will be making the final 53. Same with Ben and Slaton. They are still listed, just way, way down.

I am also a little worried about Trae, but hopefully he will hold on as their other back-up corners didn't look so good last week and Trae did have a pick (though he was beat on the route and just got there in time for a tipped ball).

I don't remember who it was, but they said they could see the Texans 3 guys, one of which was Slaton, and letting Ahman Green go

Slaton is competing for a starting/major role in houston by major role i mean splitting carries with ahman green and chris brown... Slaton is seeing tons of action in the preseason and ray rice is the future starting tailback for the ravens.
