6. Matt Grothe, South Florida: The guy nearly thrust himself into the discussion last year with a win at Auburn. The media loves this guy and his hard-nosed play. He's a natural to be in the discussion if the Bulls explode.

4. LeSean McCoy, Pitt: Another RB that will be at the heart of his team's chances to make a run for the BCS. Pitt has a chance to be real good, and McCoy is already really a star. If the Panthers show up, McCoy's name will be everywhere.

8. Todd Reesing, Kansas: Don't get me wrong, Reesing will have a good year. But as good as 2007, when he passed for 3,500 yards and 33 touchdowns? Don't think so, at least not with the upgrade in opposition that the Jayhawks face.

1. Mike Teel, Rutgers: I'm still not positive what people see as outstanding about this guy. He's decent, but is far from a great thrower and, without Ray Rice running wild, teams might just fly at him and force him to win games. Not going to happen.
