THIS WEEK IN USF ATHLETICS

The Weekly Schedule Of Events: August 25-31

Tampa (August 24, 2008) – Every Sunday, the USF Athletics Department will announce the weekly schedule of upcoming USF Athletics events, including all home and away events and any media coverage available.

This week’s schedule includes the home openers for football, men’s soccer and volleyball, as well as Jim Leavitt’s first weekly press luncheon, television show and radio show. GoUSFBulls.com will also be doing a free live chat with USF football players as part of the weekly press luncheon.

Tuesday will feature “Bulls Live,” a combination of a live USF football player online chat and Jim Leavitt’s weekly press conference. The live chat on Tuesday will run from 12:30-1:15 p.m. with select players, while Coach Leavitt will take the podium for his press conference at 1 p.m., followed by select players.

To follow all this coverage on GoUSFBulls.com, USF has announced that for a limited time only, fans can save 20 percent off an annual online subscription and get an all access pass to everything USF Athletics.

Regularly priced at $79.95, fans can now get an annual online subscription for just $63.96, or just $5.32 a month. The 20 percent off an annual subscription lasts until Sept. 21.

Subscribers get live audio AND video coverage, live game coverage, on demand features, highlights and interviews of your favorite players and coaches. The coverage includes live access to the football game radio broadcasts (including the pre- and post-game shows), Jim Leavitt’s weekly radio show, football’s weekly press luncheon and any other coaches shows and press conferences throughout the year.

USF fans will be able to watch or listen to a minimum of 86 different events just through just the beginning of December. Fans will be able to follow the USF volleyball team for the entire season as all 30 regular season games and any BIG EAST Tournament or post-season games will have audio available, with at least 14 of the home contests having live video. In addition to a full volleyball broadcast schedule, women’s soccer will have nine home games shown live and men’s soccer eight. And this coverage doesn't even include yet to be announced men's and women's basketball coverage or coverage for baseball and softball.

Attached is a PDF schedule of the weekly events.
