OK, as mentioned in another post, here is another challenge to the endzone battle.

We need to get the GREEN GOLD chant going and the two endzones are the ones to make it happen, and lead the way.

North Endzone will chant GREEN

South Endzone will chant GOLD

Lets see which endzone can make it happen.

its tough to get 2 endzones going in a chant.  actually...almost impossible.

too much noise inbetween the endzones for it to get drowned out.

plus, people on the sideline seats won't know which color to shout.

good luck to all participating though.  im on the south side (kinda)

I agree.  In fact it wouldn't surprise me if the sidelines didn't take it over in the early stages and you wouldn't have any idea which endzone was the loudest.

I say we judge ourselves on what we're there to do, and that is see who can do the best to disrupt the visiting team's offense in the red zone.  After the game we can discuss who created more false starts, forced timeouts, obvious miscommunications on audibles, etc.

Yeah, there will be some obviously biased arguments made, but isn't that what we do best on this board?  Besides, if we were to all accept the fact that the south endzone is the best right from the start, it wouldn't be that fun of a competition to last the season.  Oops there I go doing it myself!

i think everyone can agree that the student section is the loudest section but without a doubt the south endzone is next in line.

All you need is a student with a sign that read "GREEN" and someone in the south end zone with a "GOLD" sign. We all have seen the wave get started. It just takes one guy (in this case two) to yell really loud.

Maybe the cheerleaders can help us out.

I agree, a sign in each endzone is all it will take.  After a routine is down, everyone will pick it up quicker.  Once one endzone starts, sidelines will pick it up, and then the other endzone continues.

I believe they tried last year. But nobody knew because they were down on the field where nobody can really see them.

Maybe in between quarters they can go out on the field where everyone can see.

They should just put it on the jumbo tron for each endzone at the time they are supposed to shout green or gold.  Everyone will see it and know which one to shout.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
