#37.

Other weirdness:  Louisville #15??

Interesting only in that it is used in the BCS calculation, but a reminder that the BCS rankings won't come out until well into the season.

USA Today will come out with their BIG EAST preview in Thursday's edition.

I suppose that could be the case, but given the fact that so much can change from year-to-year, I suppose that it's weird that this is how he starts the year.  As i mentioned, having UL at #15 is ridiculous, but if the 'previous years' factor gets thrown out after a few games then it really doesn't matter where he starts us.

Computer rankings never mean anything early in the season, or before the season.

But they mean a ton later on.

It's a joke that they even put them out in the preseason.  This only hurts the computer rating credibility.  People will point at them late in the season and say how inaccurate the computers are.  They all shouldn't come out until the 3rd or 4th week (at the earliest).

and yes I know it's after the 6th week they are used to calculate BCS ratings.

Kansas not in the Top 25.

USF fourth of the Big East teams.

And oh by the way the Lancelots are ranked behind TWO I-AA teams.

He had us finishing 24th last year.

Closest to the actual ranking I think.  Now wasn't that a surprise?

Who knows, comming up through the ranks would be a good idea - oh, forgot that was last year.
