Other weirdness: Louisville #15??Interesting only in that it is used in the BCS calculation, but a reminder that the BCS rankings won't come out until well into the season.USA Today will come out with their BIG EAST preview in Thursday's edition.http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt08.htm

As i mentioned, having UL at #15 is ridiculous, but if the 'previous years' factor gets thrown out after a few games then it really doesn't matter where he starts us. This only hurts the computer rating credibility. People will point at them late in the season and say how inaccurate the computers are. They all shouldn't come out until the 3rd or 4th week (at the earliest).and yes I know it's after the 6th week they are used to calculate BCS ratings. Now wasn't that a surprise?Who knows, comming up through the ranks would be a good idea - oh, forgot that was last year.
