PITT’S FULMER WILL MISS SEASON  AGAIN

You’ve got to feel terrible for Pittsburgh defensive end Doug Fulmer, a would-be starter who missed all of 2006 and most of 2007 with injuries and will now miss all of 2008 as well.

Pittsburgh coach Dave Wannstedt confirmed that Fulmer suffered torn ligaments in his knee during a practice Sunday, and he will not play this season. Fulmer started three games early in 2006 before he suffered a broken ankle, and a knee injury during 2007 spring workouts cost him all of last year.

Wannstedt said he’s not sure what the future holds for Fulmer, a redshirt junior. Sophomore Jabaal Sheard will replace him in the starting lineup.

What ever he does he shouldn't ask Ben Mauk how to get extra years of eligibility.
