Akol has decided to leave USF, says it just wasn't the right fit.  That hurts.

Very strange, I think that kid has some growing issues to deal with.  Lived in Bradenton and now does not feel comfortable at USF.  To me something happened and he wants to get away from it.  Good luck

I've gotten to the point that I'll believe some of these recruits will stick when they return from the 2nd road trip of the season...are we just over eager to hope that these guys will join the program when in reality its a very iffy situation?

Gilchrist's waiver is even more important than Akol for THIS year's success.

Yes, losing Akol hurts, but we still have some big bodies, and now one more scholarship to give.

In some cases, absolutely, but this guy already DID join the program. You'd hope once you get them, you keep them ...
