vs. Pitt in 06. Homecoming I think. He had those two highlight reel plays where he slipped the Pitt defenders...both turned into big gains.

Remember the first touchdown pass vs. McNeese St...the commentator said "He's going for it all!"  I think that has pretty much defined his collegiate career to this point.

We have so many players that are fun to watch. What a team..i am so excited to be a bull. Can't wait for Tenn-Martin.

Grothe's coming out game was UCF in 06

I think it was the McNeese game. But the first time we thought he was a superhero was the Pitt game.

I thought it was the first game of the 06 season. I remeber cheering when he came on the field.

Two seasons of Grothe, I'm not sure if he has had his national coming out party yet. I think we'll see that this year, and it will be over the course of a couple games.

Some great moments for us Bulls fans though...

McNeese - the whole atmosphere of our program changed

FIU - not a great game, but in the end, we saw that MG has nerves of steel

UCF 06 - lit it up statistically, they didn't have an answer for him (still don't)

Pitt 06 - If anyone were to ask me to describe the single most exciting football play I have seen one player make, it would come from that game

WVU 06 - I don't know that MG did anything outstanding in this game, but he outplayed White and wasn't supposed to. The best play was obviously Ean Randolph's TD catch and run.

Auburn - Phenominal game in my opinion. The offense didn't run very many plays and Grothe again proved his guts

WVU 07 - "The Gro-hawk"

UCF 07 - the pass to TJ to end the half was brilliant.

Cincy - after 4 picks, he had us in position to win. Threw the pass, pulled himself out of the gutter and put the ball on the money

Pitt 07 - The 80 yard TD run changed the game
