The only true center on Detroits roster is 7'1, 195 lbs.  Heck, McHugh Mattis was heavier than that, and he was only 6'5/6'6.  KG should get plenty of PT I would think.  Hopefully he makes the most of it.

Not sure, but the Piston's new head coach (michael curry) is head coaching the summer team, so KG has every opportunity to impress the guy that has the most power to get him on the roster (other than Joe Dumars, who i'm sure will be there as well).

Samb is around 230lbs not 195.That was what he weighted entering the NBA a couple of years ago.

KG is on Detroit's team as a favor to Heath, because the one thing the Pistons have a lot of is PFs.

The Pistons are going to want minutes for Plaisted, Sharpe, Johnson, and Samb.I think that Kentrell must show a lot in practice he is better then a guy like Plaisted which he clearly is imo.

I am a Detroit Pistons' fan so I hope that Kentrell can become their version of "Big Baby" Glen Davis. If he works hard he can be that type of player.
