Now the devil is laughing his a** off. This team could be flat out awful this season. They lost 8 starters on offense, and 7 on defense plus countless key contributors behind those guys. At this rate they lost 85% of their rushing yards and receiving yards from last year. Back-ups galore have been kicked off or left. The team is in major trouble. I believe they'll probably go something like 4-8, honestly.

I don't care if Brohm was back, and the Cantwell crap is from a few games in 2006 on a stacked UL team I am not buying the hype, with no one to throw to above 5-9 and/or proven this team's passing game is going to struggle.I believe, unless Krag's can do some miracle transformation, this team is probably staring at a record like 4-8, and becoming Syracuse's beetch. They have the potential to be that bad. Their best returning defensive player, Earl Hayman, overrated, lazy, and he's moved to DT. On offense statistically the best returner is Brock Bolen, a limited tweener.

Their only solace is five of the first 6 games are at PJCS, and none are very good teams even in KSU, UK, and Uconn. Theoretically though UL is bad, they lost so much and the hits keep coming...Jajuan Spillman is gone for good, Guy is now probably gone, Dale Martin is gone, Stripling...at this point there really is no good excuse for USF to lose at PJCS this year, especially with Cinci coming up the following week. Now is the time to turn the corner.
