I am hoping that Rutgers continues to feel the Black Uniform Mojo but it looks like they are moving the ball a little now.

Buttgers aint so good when they're not taking opponent's points off the board.

I guess they took away Schiano's 2nd job as ref consultant.

I think so.  I havent seen Schiano's head up any ref's ass so far today.

yeah...  completely different tone of this game.

i think the weather, the day game, and the fact that the entire country isn't tuned in to the only game on TV has created an entirely different atmosphere in this game.

as much flack as Leavitt got for the Buttgers game, i think Schiano was even worse the way his nose was up the refs' cornholes all game.

On the FG Block the ref should have gave Schiano a flying elbow to the face.

hmmmmm...

A team goes up two touchdowns on Rutgers after a fumble?  That looked like a perfect time for the Big East refs to find a way to screw up the game.

this is West Virginia we're talking about here.  not that no-name directional school in West-Central Florida.

WVU gets the benefit of the doubt.  USF still needs to pay its dues before we can neutralize someone else's home-cooking with our own reputational gravitas.

Just imagine, without those points taken off, Rutgers would have lost  by 4 to the #2 team in the country. They suck!

i don't even know if the score would have looked like that at the end, either. momentum and a quiet crowd can change the entire face of a game.  a 24-10 lead at halftime and we could have taken that one going away. but whatever... that was last week.  i've been done talking about it for a while now.

Agreed on the final score and momentum thing...but saying a team that beat us is bad.....what does that say about our team?

Would have been better if Leavitt did it running all the way across the field...or better yet just superman punch some of his teeth out.

Is it me or does anyone else think (generally) Rutger's is a great representation of a great New Jersey stereotype. Here's some clues. They don't help opposing players up. Every chance they get they try to pull some cheap play out of their asses (look at that squib punt for example.) One of Rutger's players ran into an old man, plowed him down, and didn't even check if he was alright. And you got Schiano the little ***** always yelling in the refs ear every chance he gets. If you haven't figured out the stereo type I'm referring to it's "The arm pit of America." Rutger's is the arm pit of College football. Here's a good future sign for next year.

New Jersey= The Arm Pit of America

Rutgers= The Arm Pit of College Football

College football was born from an armpit?  Hehe.  Wait till these guys come to the hotdog environment next year.  It's going to be nasty.

when did i say Rutgers is bad?

i simply said they're not as good without all the calls going their way.  that can go for every team that gets favorable calls.  don't play the same when they're not falling your way.

don't infer more from my statement than i was actually implying.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
