Good Point BP, but also ... I think that it would be tough for a True FR to make a move at QB.

But you are right that things must look better if you are taking him away to learn the position.

And he must be looking strong at Safety when Leavitt already has praised 3 other Safeties in the same day.

I feel very good going against teams with our Nickel & Dime packages.

And I think Watson is solely because of grades . . . and that can get you in the dog house. Hope all is fine with him though.

Go BULLS !!!

Yeah, just like when we moved Louis Gachette to safety, it meant our QB position was gonna be SOLID!   ::)

"This is the youngest team I've had since our first year," Leavitt continued. "There's a lot of competition everywhere."

That is twice I've seen that quote from JL.  I'm concerned we may not have enough experiance this year.  Is JL paving or letting us know we may have a bad season?

I don't mind being young, as long as we're talented.  Kids will step up if given the opportunity.  Those 3 LBs are going to lead this Defense.  I have no doubt that the youngsters will learn alot from our leaders.

HE MUST NOT BE QB MATERIAL

USF NEEDS QBS

I WOULD BE STUNNED IF HE ISNT REDSHIRTED

HE IS WASTING A YEAR

He is just stating facts ... we were younger in 2005 than 2004 and we improved.

No worry here !

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
