I get the feeling we don't see him again for USF. But just a feeling. Not based on anything I've heard.

It's going to be hard to regain that court time with a year of non-competitive basketball if others are integrating into your position. Maybe if he was an elite talent its possible, but he was likely just going to be a rotation guy. Really a stupid move on his part competitively. I would say he is doing this on purpose to leave but he leave at any time and not have to sit out now.

Now with nobody returning that shoots better than 33%, I'm worried that the defenses will sag on our front line. My hope is that CBG has worked with Collins to kick out more on his drives to the basket, which I think will generate some pretty open looks for others on the team. My concern is that we are able to hit those shots once they are kicked out.

And it pains me to say that, because I think he has built alot of depth, but at the end of the day you have to have a couple of guys that make a jumper outside of 5 feet - which was our Achille's heel last year. What will be interesting to see this year, is if coming off an injury how much of Yetna's game moves outside to avoid contact. He did shoot 37% from the 3 point line in 2018-19, but that was before they moved the line out the following year. If an NBA team can tolerate 1 guy on the floor that can't play D but can make 3s I'm not sure why a college roster can't tolerate 1 of them. Can't come up with the guy's name but a white guy that wears his socks up high and, Korver just came to me, shoots well but lacks D.
