His loss is still felt today. Agree. He was such a positive influence on the school, students, Athletics and in the community (local and larger). He was always so gracious and kind. He was instrumental in getting things off the ground with the community. Still have this signed poster as one of my most cherished. I don't think he knew me, or that I had this site, but he was always a class act. My kids, who met him while very young, still talk about Lee Roy.

Lee Roy didn’t hire Leavitt. Paul Griffin did, but I’m sure LRS played a role. Edited September 4, 2020 by Dave_Glaser

Maybe a dumb question but what ever happened to Jr. he was undersized , but a great talent at Nose tackle and played well for us. Is he still local or did he leave the area?
