Dropping like flies.....One Group 5 sports article source from MAC said, it was the fear of virus, cost of medical/protective services and loss of revenue from their cancelled games w/ P5 teams. AAC may be looking at the same scenario soon?? Never know: Maybe it will put a different spin on Spring Football 2021(season)??  Practice 2-3 weeks in Feb, 8 games March-April playoff in May?? if they want to play....at all ???   Drop it for an entire year we might see a lot of programs bite the dust..Oh well, maybe after the election the virus will stop...?

Not sure we will ever play football again. Enjoy it on ESPN Classic. What makes anyone think things will be different in the spring? Or next fall? Or ever? Despite what you’ve heard, there’s  no guarantee we’ll ever find an effective vaccine. And even if we do, viruses mutate.  #FearPorn

My point is that we can’t hide from the virus forever, but that appears to be the current strategy.

Go forth and conquer is the best we can do. Survival of the fittest sad to say. Seems to be working like a purge of sorts. Manmade? Targeted?       Yep, it could be out there for the long term. At some point soon people will have to go put their foot in the water see what happens. Same with sports, schools, work, life. Do what you can to protect yourself. Time will tell. "strategy" I'm not sure there is a strategy. Mandating to the masses? The masses seem to enjoy herd mentality. The masses seem to possess a large group of self-centered, self-indulgent fools as "demonstrated" especially nightly. It will be interesting to see what the AAC is thinking about currently as the chips keep falling...?
