No but they discussed the Tulane and SMU beat down at home, it was on everybody’s mind how we went from #2 in 2007 to our current state,.

I went to lunch today with a friend from Farm Bureau. He brought another friend.  The new guy saw my USF shirt and said “ I like the Bulls!” I said really, how come? He said they were a great program that got good fast, was fun to watch.  Yes we talked about the big wins.  It was fun. A lifelong Arizonan could tell me about the ‘07 era Bulls but couldn’t recall too much about the last “few” years.

That’s funny. Today this older guy who is painting the inside of my house noticed my USF wall in one of the rooms. He looked at me nodded his head and said the Bulls cost $250 when they beat Kansas. I told him they have cost me much more than that.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
