The American Announces USF Women's Basketball Home and Away Opponents

The Bulls will face six teams in home and away contests, including UCF in the annual War on I-4 games. 

 

TAMPA (June 10, 2020) – The American Athletic Conference and University of South Florida head women’s basketball coach Jose Fernandez announced on Wednesday home and away opponents for the 16-game 2020-21 women's basketball conference slate.

With this 16-game league schedule, each team in The American will play six of its 10 opponents twice and four opponents once each – two at home and two away. The conference has gone from 12 to 11 teams with the departure of UConn.

 

Coming off of its ninth straight 19-win season, USF will play home and away games against War on I-4 rival UCF, Houston, SMU, Temple, Tulane and Wichita State.

 

The Bulls will host Memphis and Tulsa once each, and will travel to Cincinnati and East Carolina once each.

 

Game dates, times, along with televised matchups, will be released at a later date.

 

USF women’s basketball ticket deposits are being accepted now for the 2020-2021 season. Deposits are $50 per seat and can be purchased by visiting GoUSFBulls.com or calling the USF Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-Go-Bulls.

Too much unknown going into this season.  Heck, I guess we were never assured more than just UConn.  CJF has pointed out a few times that not playing UConn twice to bolster the RPI or SOS is going to hurt chances to get bids outside of the championship.

I wondered if there is more to the story and he was possibly asked to resign his standing in these organizations.  I had heard rumors of sitting bull engaging in a threesome with a Sundoll and Rocky and his wife caught him in the act.  I cannot validate this to be true but the timing of his media release does raise some questions.

I know we have had our disagreements before.  But hate to see you leave as we need all the good paying fans that we can get especially now.  And it sounds like you have been a good one.

BUT, life is short, and it there are other things that you want to pursue with your hard earned money then I say go for it.  Whatever makes you happy man!
