Great story. I think my dislike for his father made me ignore what a great addition we added to our coaching staff. I think we will win at least 9 games this year. Our head coach is a master with WRs, Our OC is a prodigy that utilizes tight ends. Pat White has had success as a QB coach and now a running back coach. We have speed, fast receivers, running backs (need more size or a fullback), tight ends (I think Thomas Nance will be a star) and 5 QBs ( I think Noah Johnson starts). There is no reason that we cant score at least 30pts a game this year.

I couldn’t stand his dad either, what an arrogant arse.  His quote when he went to Notre Dame that “every game they would have a schematic advantage”blew up in his face.  However 9 games?? New offense, new staff, new QB?  I love your optimism but I am having trouble seeing 6 wins, I hope you are right.

I look at the schedule and see six wins being the absolute best case scenario.  Four wins seems just as likely as six to me though.  The coaches would have to be miracle workers to win nine.

Pat White is his ex- Qb coach when he played at Alcorn. Even though he is the running back coach now, Im sure he gave CJL a lot of good info on him.

With CJL leading the team Noah Johnson will put up BJ Daniels type numbers.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
