I expect we will see a drastic reduction in transfers once we get through a few recruiting cycles.  Clemson hasn't taken a transfer in quite a while, IIRC.

Even if it is just the transfer portal, I'll take it.  We needed an influx of talent, and this was the best route for us this year.  Good for the coaching staff!

Clemson also does not lose recruits. I think there was a quote from CJS something to the effect of, "Once you commit to Clemson, you will not take another visit..." Then again, we ain't Clemson.

Definitely not Clemson... but I think that players who buy into CJF's system will tend to stay in, especially with the knowledge that once the portal is entered, there's no coming back.  We'll still have transfers in the future, but it will certainly be more rare.
