He was hitting team-best .330 with 8 dingers when season was shelved at JUCO. Originally signed with UF and played sparingly at 3B as a frosh in G-ville.

Over the course of a full season, that's 15-20 HRs. If he even brings us double digits, it is still a great pick up. Even better, he's coming to us with 3 more years (maybe 4 depending on what the ruling is on Spring athletes). Was rated the #9 3B coming out of HS by Perfect Game.

For him yes.  But if the young pitching holds up and we add some offense, then we could be back in the dance

This shows a little more interest on the offensive side of the ball.  Didn't he get another commit from someone that appears to be able to swing it?
