In the stadium I wasn't particularly impressed with the pass rush. Did it look the same on TV?

I feel like we should have applied much more pressure on Towson QB. Something to look at moving forward.

I think the fact that they were a run first team that ran a lot of play action slows the rush down.  I also didn't think we ran anything other than our base defense... I didn't see any real stunts or gaming up front.  I saw they got a lot of penetration and they did get some pressure... it just didn't show up in numbers.  I looked at how many times they knocked around that QB and he took a beating.  I like the fact that the big guys up front are so good against the run. That to me is a big deal.

Pass rush looked pretty solid to start the game, I thought. But then when they started adapting we had to back off a little and that clearly wasn't our game. That's my take.

I agree, most of our pressure came off of linebacker blitzes. But the DT's are outstanding in the middle
