W. Tennis - AAC Championship Game

USF, the #2 seed, shut out SMU 4-0 and has advanced to the championship game.  They will be playing against the #1 seed Tulsa.

During the season, USF lost to Tulsa 4-3, who were ranked #14 at the time.

Tulsa wins the doubles point... on to singles play.

Edit:  What this means is that we have to win 4 out of 6 singles matches before they win 3.

I'm not positive but I think it took the mighty gator football team 56 years to win its first southeast conference championship.  

uSF is getting closer to winning championships then in past years.

Let's put this into perspective:

They were playing the #30 team in the country

and

"Overall it was a truly remarkable season for the Bulls. Just a season ago, the team only won four matches. Under first year head coach Cristina Moros, USF won 15 regular season matches and finished runner-up in the American Championships."
