Awoleke flashed the ability to be disruptive in limited reps last season. This is a needed boost to the DL rotation. He was a walk-on that didn't join the program until his soph more year. So for his clock purposes (the time (5yrs I believe) the NCAA gives an college athlete to play four years and a redshirt year under normal circumstances) beginning when they officially join the program, the NCAA set aside his freshman year by awarding him a 6th season.
