It has been mentioned but a run first team can win. Also, the strength of the team is in the RBs. But like everybody has said on here, run some quick passing routes and use play action. All of our games this season have been the same thing. Run the ball great until half time. After half time, opposing teams make adjustments, stop the run, and CWT still calls it the same way.

After saying that though, I would love to see a TCU style offense at USF.

Did you not realize that bench technically threw 2 picks? He was saved by a penalty the first time. He's not the answer I'm sorry.

We do not have a QB who is going to light up our passing game.

An option offense though? Hey, Air Force and Navy avg about 30 pts a game with it.

We would probably get the Army version though.

Let me explain since I think I am getting thrown on the QF love train here. Do I think he is a good QB? No. He can't make simple reads like take the dump off pass instead of running.

However, my problem is people think Bench is the answer. He is not.

People keep saying Bench would be fine if he wasn't getting drilled every play. Well news flash the O line isn't going to magically get better at pass protection.

If I'm an opposing coach I blitz Bench every play and wait for him to throw it over the middle. That's Bench's limitations.

Flowers did nothing to win or lose that game. That's the most you can expect from him I believe

The only thing I can think was that Flowers was gassed?  Holy crap QF just threw one in the dirt.

Because we couldn't win with another drive that takes 8 minutes. Let Bench go try and air it out. He got picked, MD scored again. Game over so put QF back in

Yep...little to late. If you really wanted to give yourself or Bench a chance you start him at the begining of the second half....

That's my take on it. If you are going to play Bench start the second half. Not let the offense get moving then yank him
