25 Great Reasons To Despise UCF

    By Collin Sherwin  @USFCollin on Nov 27 2013, 9:35a 1

    1.

    2. O'Leary Still Hasn't Learned. "There is no question the kids today are softer than kids in the past, in my mind. I think it comes from too much parental babying." Ereck Plancher's family would disagree, George.

    3.
    4. And When We Finally Concede... January 17, 2012: To address mutual scheduling needs, USF offers to play UCF at Citrus Bowl. UCF declines, saying they need a home game.

    2. That's a reason to hate GOL? Mike Ditka would agree. I know there is a 'war against Football' with the media but I'm sure a few Bulls fans that have actually been a part of a Football locker room 'get it'. Football is not soccer, at least not yet. He's an old school guy. Using a tragedy as propaganda is a low blow, the exact same thing happened up at FSU years ago and even UF fans don't use that in their arsenal of hate

    4. UCF didn't build an On Campus Stadium to play in the Citrus Bowl. The only programs that UCF may give in for a game there are ones like UF or Notre Dame, not USF Voodoo5 guy

Not 1 player ever put on a UCF Football uniform that was part of the NCAA investigation but good job on sensationalism. There is a reason that UCF won the Bowl Appeal b/c it was a bogus punishment in the first place.

Then why did UCF agree to any of the sanctions good lord man...anything else you want to spin?

UCF agreed to all the Basketball sanctions not all of the Football ones. It's just dumb to throw stones about NCAA stuff, it's a dumb organization and sooner or later USF will have to deal with them. Every Program does

  2.

I went to UCF and I have seen some of the bad stuff go down with UCF fans causing the problem...Despite that I do take shots at my mother in law and several people I work with that are USF grads...it is all in good fun for most of us...obviously keying someones car is flat out wrong and reprehensible but that doesnt represent the average UCF fan IMO...

At the same time I had 4 UCF magnets ripped off my car and torn in half at the 1st USF game.  I was pissed but I was dumb for leaving them up.  I Do not however think that the idiot who did it represents the average USF fan...and then there was the @$$ wooping the 2nd time we played you at your place...as i was leaving (end of the 3rd) a mother holding on to 3 children was calling me a UCF Fag and F&cking UCF fan...not the best representative of your school...

    We all have our idiots...

I think the water fountains is pushing it a little as a reason to hate us...there has to be another

I am done with saying UCF has a small pocket of fans just like everyone else...I'm sorry there have been to many stories not only by Bulls fans but by other fans UCF plays where you are darn right vile and nasty...explain this clip from the last time we played you were hundreds of fans were essentially ready to tear the refs apart...sure doesnt look like a small pocket of fans to me:

you should include the youtube if it still exists of the overweight USF fan with a HUGE Bulls flag running in the middle of the heart of UCF's Memory Mall , that's called instigating. Don't act like your fanbase is a bunch of angels

  4. There's nothing overrated about the talent at that school. Honestly, I think its between them and FSU, for best in the state.

    X

Don't think we've ever been this deep without cheerleaders ?!?

UCF doesn't take the Oregon approach b/c they take the competition side of cheerleading seriously so the talent on the squad is sometimes average compared to what is walking around on campus. Knightmoves

  5. Gismo I agree Downtown is awesome and on another level with options but the UCF Area is not bad either and is a lot of fun. You have the Station, Mad Hatter, MOAT, Knights Pub, Knight Library, WOB, Culpeppers all along University or in that plaza across from Greek Row less than a half mile from Campus. Also the 'old Plaza'(popular nightlife spot) that got torn down(RIP Underground Bluz :( ) and is currently being turned into a mixed use project (similar to Tally's College Town project that just opened) will also probably have a few more bars/late night restaurants at street level when it opens next Fall. Downtown is just an extra bonus only 20 minutes away to what has formed on University and that doesn't include Waterford which is nice to have next door as a clean place with all the chains.

Also quoting has been messing up on mobile

If I had to live in Orlando, I'd leave every chance I got too.

    .

Plenty of Tampa Bay people attending UCF and if you want to go down the lame city comparisons Orlando is much more exciting city to be in for anyone not married yet. Nothing in Tampa matches the nightlife options in Downtown Orlando, East Orlando, & Winter Park

That must be a recent thing.  Tampa was far better when I was at USF and it wasn't even close.  I spent more than a few nights out in Orlando with this UCF chick I hooked up with from time to time and while Orlando wasn't altogether lame, Tampa was a much more desirable place to go out and hit up for bars, clubs, etc.

I don't know how long ago you're talking about but if you ask any unbiased say Nole or Gator fan college age and into their late 20s most will say Orlando's nightlife and girls blow away Tampa. All the good bars are spread out in Tampa, nothing matches what Downtown Orlando has in density

Within the last decade.  Last year at USF was 2004 .

Even when we were in the midst of our losing streak, we still brought 10K+ to Tampa. Your program was built on sand and it's showing.

  10. We are tailgating like never before. This will be my last tailgate of undergrad, as well as many of my other friends from both USF and UCF. We plan to have:

    -bp table painted USF/UCF

    -massive quantities of alcohol

-many woman (as i'm one of the few with a girlfriend)

    -charcoal grilling

-big flat screen with the games

    -maybe a dj? lol

Ideally you can just look for the best tailgate there, which will be us, and stop by for a beer.

Gotta show these orlando folks how to tailgate, ya know?

That's the spirit but Tailgating is 1 thing we don't need help with ;)

  11. LOL a 6 post Kanigit fan telling our Bulls mods/admins how to run our board ...

Just offering some friendly advice. I created an account, posted on your main open board, and promptly had my post removed and sent off to an obscure thread that few will read. When I asked why, I got the response that they don't want us posting on that open board. It doesn't make sense to have an open board that isn't really open.

Is Kanigit supposed to be an insult?

Yep and it takes comments out of context when it is taken out of the thread it was posted in. Basically discourages any back & forth , might as well make the whole board premium for only USF fans
  12. There were 10 lead changes ( IIRC)....so it was probably exciting to Temple and or UCF fans.

YOU WERE PLAYING TEMPLE.... IF UCF IS SO GOOD THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE BLOWN THE DOORS OFF THAT TEAM.

OK ALL CAPS, UCF SUCKS ;)
  13.

They are not lighting the world on fire, that is for sure. Snuck by with a couple of lucky wins against equally mediocre teams. We will get out asses handed to us for sure, but relatively they look like the same team they always have. Slow and dumb. Did I mention how much I miss speed on defense.

So what do you like watching gimmicks like Oregon? UCF offense has been fun to watch w a lot of playmakers. The defense has a lot of injuries & UCF has 1 of the youngest teams in the nation so the 2 head scratching road performances do not surprise me. Remember these are college students not Pros

Why do your parents hate you?

another example why WillieTforme is one of maybe 4 rational posters here.
