    Close The Upper Bowl

    It would be interesting to know how many people get those $80 season tickets that are in the upper bowl. USF always tries to advertise the fact that their season tickets start at such a low price. It looks like their strategy is more about getting people to come to the game regardless of where they sit. If they close the upper bowl, this could hurt their marketing strategy with the cheap tickets.

     

    I'm not saying that the market strategy is working because I have no clue and I'm in no position to say, but I could see this as being a reason why they would not want to close the upper bowl.

    Booing isn't right. I am upset but I think taggart will shoulder this shame for all of us and turn it around. I will be cheering at fau even if we suck. Who is with me?

    Can't wait for the FAU game and to cheer on our Bulls! 

     

    I was pretty upset on Saturday. I think at one point I was yelling. Quickly realized how idiotic I probably sounded and felt bad. These athletes are students playing a game. I was a student a little over a year ago. I'm happy that those guys are out there playing for USF.

     

    What I do get upset about is if the players aren't even trying. That must be left with the coaches though and I can't worry about that. All I can do is cheer them on and hope that it motivates them.

     

    Either way! All I can do as a fan is be the best fan possible. Can't wait for another good tailgate and to cheer on our Bulls against FAU. 

    Any word on the uni's for McNeese?

    A while back there was a thread on here that said that green on green was no longer allowed by the NCAA...

     

    Anyone remember this?  Something about if Boise State can't wear blue on blue on smurfturf, then schools like USF, Mich St., Oregon can't wear green on green on regular turf anymore.  Was that true or just a BS rumor?

    Yes, this was going to be an issue, but the NCAA backed off. They weren't going to allow the blue unis on blue turf at Boise which means they wouldn't be able to allow green unis on green turf which is kind of absurd.

    UCF looked legit, it'll be a fun game in late November. 

    I was surprised how many times Akron was able to penetrate and put pressure on Bortles. Imagine our D-line on that.

     

    I still love it that the first play of the American conference was Blake Bortles getting sacked and fumbling the football. He recovered it, but still. First play in AAC football history...lol

    1)  What is your tailgate meal for Game 1? Don't know yet, but I'm tailgating with a friend's parents tomorrow. They are both USF alumni and one of them is actually a chief officer at USF. Not saying which one for anonymity. Anyways, they always do some big stuff!!!

     

    2)  How many USF quarterbacks will see action tomorrow night? 2. Floyd and Bench

     

    3)  What do you believe will be the reported attendance? Around low 30's

     

    4)  Will you be staying until the end regardless of outcome? Yes!
