  1. Forgive me Brad, for I have sinned. I haven't been active on TBP in a long time. I was always a big V5 fan. They could get zany at times, but it was enjoyable and that's what I liked. I joined Bulls247 and bought the service to support them for their first year because I really did enjoy their blog posts and watnedto see it keep going and maybe subscriber growth would help with that. Idk...

However, I lost a lot of respect with Collin on this. I was extremely disappointed in his handling of the situation and the reason he gave for the ban. When a lot of news was surfacing on Tom Allen being the front-runner for the Auburn DC job, a new thread was created on possible replacements for CTA. Collin thought this to be inappropriate and banned the guy for it saying this was a detriment to CTA and his family. Granted, he said the poster has had several past infractions, but he shouldn't have been banned for starting a replacement speculation thread. Collin has since retracted and undid the ban, but it was still disappointing to see him go on what seemed like a power trip at the time.

I am cancelling my subscription and will probably be visiting here more often again.

If you're in Tennessee just wait for the Memphis game. Nashville vs Chicago is a good matchup to watch and it's close to you. If you feel like traveling to Cincinnati do that, but there's no guarantee USF will show up, but if we do you'll definitely see an exciting game. If you're worried about it being a wasted trip though, just try to wait until the memphis game on Nov. 22

Memphis actually around seven hours and Cincy is 4 and a half. So if i was going to drive that far, i might as well drive a little longer and go to Tampa.

Then go to Cincy. With Davis back I feel like we're finding ourselves on offense. When we do score it's usually big, exciting plays. Cincy will probably put extra men on Davis, but that should open it up for others. Just hoping they don't drop and passes

  4. "Wulff said Flowers has been learning the playbook well. Different system than he ran in high school."

"Wulff said "there wasn't a pressed need" to play Quinton first 2 weeks, but the time is coming to decide if he will play & plan is he will."

"Regarding QB Quinton Flowers, #USF OC Paul Wulff says "the plan is he's going to play" ... Trying to find ways to get him in moving forward."

  5. Although, he has some good points, it's hard to overlook the hypocritical ********:

Sometimes you need to vote with your wallet to effect change, and not buying tickets or making your annual gift is a good way to show you're unsatisfied with the direction of the program. I don't encourage this after one or two bad seasons, but when things are systemically wrong (as they certainly were here in the recent past) it can be ok to check out in support of a larger cause.

    ....

I stopped giving money to USF Athletics (except volleyball) as a protest. I didn't buy season tickets either.

If he didn't do it after one or two bad seasons, when did he do it?? Reality is, if you truly care about the USF football program, you don't withhold its' lifeblood unless things reach a disaster level of Biblical proportions and it hadn't ..... unless you're one of the spoiled teenagers our fanbase has been compared to.

I interpreted that in his opinion things were systematically wrong which is when you should protest in this manner. I get where he's coming from on that statement. Doug Woulard gives a contract extension after a 5-7 season, gives himself a new contract and just rides it out. Woulard  was so hidden behind the curtain it was kind of getting ridiculous. Just look at what Harlan has done. He's been more active and visible than Woulard probably was his entire tenure. When you have an AD who seems to not care, things look systematically wrong so this was his way of protesting. I'm not saying it's right, but I don't see it as hypocritical as you do since things did look bad.

What I think he's referring to is when you have a program that seems to have the enthusiasm similar to what USF has this year, that you don't give up on it because they suck for a couple years. Athletics is really trying hard now and they actually seem to care. They're in panic mode because sales are so low. It's good to have this new enthusiasm, it just sucks that it took people to stop contributing to get their attention.

This is great! Really wish we would have got more of a heads up though... It would've been nice to be able to setup the DVR today to record it, but they didn't release this until today. Have to wait for the YouTube vid for this week

It replays. Scroll back up for times.

I have Verizon though :( It sounds like it only replays for Bright House Network channel

  7. Definitely disappointed in last night, but we have the opportunity to improve. We are still a young team. QB play needs to step up and that can come with more experience. Hopefully, this doesn't bite us all season.

The defense was the biggest disappointment for me, however. Not to take anything away from WCU's QB, but he should not have done that well. Yes, he looked good but I've never seen so much cushion between the DBs and WRs. This needs to tighten up ASAP.

I'd like to chalk this up to first game jitters and I'll wait to see how we look in the next couple weeks before freaking out. White is a smart kid, but he's still really young. Towards the end of the game when USF took the lead, he looked like a different QB. If we have that as our baseline, we just might be ok...

  8. Evan Daniels â€@EvanDaniels

Ruben Guerrero, a 6-foot-10 big man out of Sunrise Christian, is currently on an official visit to South Florida, per a source.

The bottomline is we need a backup center badly. If he can rebound and half defend he will be useful. Omogbehin needs to be moved on as he cannot play at this level and is simply taking up a scholarship from someone that can possibly contribute.

Not sure if he has an offer yet though, maybe he gets one before he leaves if Coach O like what they see.

I'm late to the game, but totally agree. Omog is pretty much useless. The guy can barely run to half court and he looks like he's always limping. Probably tall people problems, sadly. If Antigua truly wants a fast paced style, he absolutely does not fit. Even if he doesn't play fast, Omog just doesn't have the skill. He was a project that has not gone well. Can we just take away a scholarship like that? I mean I feel bad for the kid, but he is just not good.

  9. That sucks although I can see the appeal. Polk County is FILLED with Gator fans and you'll find your splash of FSU mixed in there. Having grown up and graduated from LWHS myself, I can see that it probably appealed to him more that he would be playing for an SEC school and have the opportunity to play against teams like the Gators. I was really hoping the play close to home card would stick out more.

Has he received an offer from UF? I would think he would jump on that in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose.

  10. Oh come on guys... Did you not see the comedy in that statement? Everyone could probably read it differently, but I read that statement to mean that USF needs someone new and exciting. We don't need another typical, run of the mill AD. We need someone to be bold, outgoing, and get this program back on track. I think the white guy statement is just a stereotype of a white collar businessman dressed in a suit, collecting paychecks, very reserved, etc. You could argue that is not what USF needs at this time. We need someone that stands out to get us rejuvinated again. We need a change from Woulard at this time.

Not everyone will see it this way though, I understand, but a statement like that shouldn't deter you from the entire article and discount it altogether. Their entire premise is being sarcastic, healing through humor and being ecstatic when things are going right for us. You should already know that going into the article. It may not be for everybody and that's fine. Those comments just irritate me though.

  11. Barnhardt was there when I was a freshman. I remember from when I played JV for a year. Maikon was in the same grade as me. I've known him since 6th grade. Took a lot of the same classes together and he's a great guy. I hope he makes it in the NFL.

Hopefully, we can sell Luke on being able to play close to home.
