In Lunardi's latest bracketology, all the AP ranked teams have a seed no worse than 7, except for our Bulls as an 11 seed. NO RESPECT! Even FAU is seeded higher than us.

Dayton, ranked 25, has a 7 seed. They just lost to Loyola, whom we beat. They lost to 17-11 George Mason, who has lost to Loyola and Charlotte, both of whom we've beaten. They lost to 19-10 VCU, who has lost to Memphis, whom we beat. They lost to Richmond, who has lost to Wichita State and Northern Iowa, both of whom we beat. They also have no Top 25 wins.

Net rankings and Lunardi's rankings are a joke!

In this current bracketology, he has us against an unranked 18-11 and 6th seed in Wisconsin. Of those 11 losses, 7 were to unranked teams. Four of the losses came consecutively, where 3 of the teams were unranked. They include 15-14 Rutgers and 8-22 Michigan. Wisconsin is 2-7 in there last 9 games, which includes the 4-game losing streak. In addition, 2 of the other losses were to 18-12 Iowa and 16-13 Indiana.

What are you smoking Lunardi? You consider a team that has lost 7 of their last 9 games, where 4 losses came against teams with a combined record of 57-61, one of the best 24 teams in the country? You must be MAD!

Not so loud -- we want an easier schedule in the tournament...

For those who don't know, UAPB head coach is Solomon Bozeman, who played for USF around time time we went from Robert McCollum or Stan Heath.

I am wondering if he will be the first former player to be head coach on the opposing bench? (I know Chad Dollar has coached against us as an assistant)

He won't be the first USF Basketball player with that distinction, as Joi Williams played at USF, (currently works for USF MBB) and was head coach for UCF WBB for many games at USF.

    Yes, he will.

  3. 1st Analysis:

    USF vs Syracuse
    Thursday, December 21, 2023
    8:00 pm ET, ESPN

No Research Instant Analysis: USF will bring the intensity. It’s not like this year’s team is all that great, but it’s well coached, and it’s on the upswing in a stepping-stone year. But will Syracuse show up as it waits to get the Fran Brown era started? Yup. Let’s start the bidding at 250 Orange rushing yards.

First Thought Bowl Prediction: Syracuse 45, USF 13
    Line: Syracuse -5.5, o/u: 57.5

Does'nt the next line in a Tale of  Two Cities go  something like it was an age of belief and it was an age of incredulity. That line represents the season for me with the ups and downs in my thinking. The ups against Bama, Rice, and Navy, the downs of the FAU and UAB games, and now the combination of ups and downs against U Conn and Memphis.

i do feel relatively more positive now regarding the future of USF, but need to figure out defense.

It goes:  It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only."
