That isn't what coach Heath meant when he told the boys to shoot the lights out.

This would not be my favorite hire. Randy Shannon does not develop players.
I can think of handful of future hall of famers he did a better than decent job developing.

THE MAYANS WERE RIGHT!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

If this kid would've been coached by someone with just an inkling of imagination and balls to utilize this kids talent, he would've SMASHED all the Big East records and we'd have owned the Big East last season and this one.
Yup. I feel bad for him because the coaches here failed him miserably. He is such a dynamic weapon, and the kind of player a staff with even a modicum of ingenuity could tailor an explosive offense around. They barely scratched the surface and we are left with relative flashes of brilliance. I wish him nothing but the best going forward.

not exciting but maybe saves money to get randy savage on ?
Randy Savage is dead.
I can only imagine the diving elbow drop defense would have been brutal.

I tried to listen but the host (Mike Bianchi?) has the most grating voice I have ever heard. He sounds like a castrato televangelist doing a Dr. Phil impression.

Congrats! Keep it up and you'll grow less and less productive over the years when you should be working.

Unfortunately to have seen that I would have had to have watched Sportsnation, which I can only imagine would burn like pouring acid in my eyes.

Skip just said a mouthful about his own abilities as a head coach. Even in wins, the defense was dreadful and it isn't like we were having a great deal of success even when the offense was mostly healthy. Not to mention the games where his obvious gaffes dealt devastating blows to our chances of winning. You seem like a man of integrity Skip, but excuses are unbecoming.

The Google search, Einstein is "Taggart Alavarez" It yields 93 articles within the last 24. Maybe we need search engine classes sponsored by TBP. I got no hypothesis. God, who peed in your cornflakes? Get some sleep.
Well dear friend, If I, as an AD, have interviewed 2 candidates and both of them have moved on and I only have 1 additional candidate (from reporting), I have some serious negotiating problems when offering the 3rd candidate.( hence recruiting schtick). And if we no longer allow the use of the word 'reportedly', what shall we talk about here when our insomnia ruled minds seek solace? The articles and quotes were all from the last 24 hours after an AP release. Alvarez may or may not think Taggart is still in play, but he is clearly using it in his recruiting schtick. That's why the ambiguity in my post, but this isw NOT dated news.
Please specify how Alvarez is clearly using Taggart in his recruiting Shtick. There was no quote in either article that mentions Taggart and nothing that says his interview was more recent than 2 weeks ago .... Plus, any "news" that utilizes the word 'reportedly' is not news, it's rumor.
You're seeking solace in WT interviewing for the Wisconsin job?? .... and Alvarez has not come out and said how many candidates he has interviewed so your whole hypothesis is built on a deck of cards. You have got to be more discriminating, ie less gullible, when digesting information out there on the Internets.
I wouldn't really call it 93 articles. It's 93 identical or reworked versions of the same poorly worded AP article. It would appear to me that the article isn't factually incorrect, but the time frame of events is muddied by sloppy writing.

A little too much silicone and airbrushing for my personal tastes.

Clearly we're just setting them up for the inevitable double cross/ heel turn.

He has FL ties, but non to Taggart, except he works for Jim Harbaugh the past 2 years.
He came to Stanford from the Jets after Harbaugh had already left from what I know.

Corey Martinez got in school visit today from #USF Coach Taggert and #Stanford Oline coach Mike Bloomgren.#Bulls #Cardinals
How do you interpret this tweet? Bloomgren potential USF coach?
I was assuming that he was visited by both schools. Likely since the dead period is coming up.
That would be my first assumption as well. I know Stanford is high on Martinez's list.

There is a thread in general sports.

Torrel Saffold maybe???
That would seem most likely.

Good luck you got your wish..I'll support him with everything I have but something tells me we will be sleeping during most of our games next year.
Why start now? Every post you have made regarding Taggart has been overwhelmingly negative.

So uncomfortable...

I'm not terribly concerned one way or the other. I tend to doubt it does much good, but it certainly wasn't our downfall.

Ahem...

Is this thing on?

It was a great press conference. I'm excited about the program and it's direction.

All I care about is hiring the right man for the Bulls, and I am of the opinion that they did. Anything else is superfluous.

i challenge you to prove to me his back to back 7-5 records lead to anything otherwise.
And I challenge you to examine what he actually accomplished in three years at a fledgling FBS school, dragging them from being a doormat program in less than time than any reasonable person thought was possible. Looking only at records when evaluating a coach is simple and deceptive. As to being another Shannon, their career paths have literally nothing in common.

didnt taggart lose to fau this year?? 4 out of his 5 losses came from inconference. We are taking a guy who hasnt even dominated the level hes at as our next head coach. I don't care if he won 7 games but he lost 4 games one to FAU..
So you don't care about the wins, only the losses? Makes sense. By the by, he beat Auburn's brand new coach this season.
