Anybody else think those UCF black jerseys look like crap?

+1 -- They look horrible with the white helmets. 

I see lots of empty seats too. How is that possible?  I hear UCF gets 60K for their home games. :

In case for those who don't know:

They gave out free tickets to ALL STUDENTS.. not just UCF students

They gave out free tickets today for ANY student from ANY school. Grade school, community colleges, local colleges (like Rollins.)

Also... All alumni, faculty and staff also got free tickets

They were attempting to break a student record tonight

Smith tore his ACL.. will be out the whole season

Plus... Some RB's never fully recover from those types of injuries.

Unfortunately they have to consider him damaged goods and already plan alternatives without him until Smith can prove otherwise

Really heartbreaking for so early in his career.

finally got back on campus this week and as I turned into themain entrance off Fowler my first big wow! was:  Shade!!  We didn't have as much shade on the entire campus as there is now on the main entrance.  Drove the 'loop' and only recognized about half of the buildings.  This is quite a nice campus now.  I wasn't able to to out and about, so my question is; how well used is the 'greenway'?

Quite a bit (except Summer having less classes and too hot,) especially by the Arts building, there are usually people laying down under the tree shades or sometimes playing Frisbee.

With the 2 new add-ins which were done in the middle of the greenway (the trees and shrubbery are still growing) it looks really nice. If you haven't seen it ...It will look similar to the walkway in MLK plaza (wooden frame with vines growing throughout) only circular and surrounded by trees.

More and more trees are being added, which is awesome.  They seem to be adding trees along the entire campus roadway system.
