I’m all in for CJL, look what Mack Brown is doing at UNC

Put me down for CJL too. We've seen him go all-in on trying to build something special long-term, but CWT is just a ladder-climber. He'd probably get the team back to being halfway decent, and leave for a bad team in a good conference. CWT is about to embark on a career rebuilding tour just like CCS is attempting and failing at, so let's not sign-up for another does of what we're already getting

I agree with the announcer. The players are people not robots

So since losing one game is going to destroy the kid's confidence no matter whether he plays or not, what do you suggest we do? Forfeit the rest of the game so he doesn't get his feelings hurt, or should we try to work out an immediate transfer to SMU so he can celebrate being on the winning team?

  3. This announcer is an idiot. "If you take him out, you destroy his confidence, and if you leave him in, you destroy his confidence."  If the kid can't handle being benched in a blow-out when he's half limping, he doesn't need to be playing football at this level. He'll be fine if you bench him right now. Not that Barnett will do any better, but the announcer just wants to hear himself talk.

Maybe we should just move down to FCS with Strong.  We could dominate the MEAC

I think we should go to Conference USA. It might be slightly less competition, and we could work-on a rivalry with the like sof FIU and FAU, then slate UCF as an OOC game every season. However, if we even want to challenge for a conference championship consistently, it's probably MEAC or bust.

Btw I know it's childish but I enjoy watching Oregon losing.

I'm this type of childish too. Objectively speaking, I might've gone to Oregon if I were in Taggart's shoes, especially considering we don't know all of the behind the scenes stuff that went on, BUT  being that I'm going to be a USF fan for life, I don't have to cheer about the fact that money and prestige win-out over loyalty for the Tampa Bay area, in addition to the fact that college football is even more of a status-quo with the P5 alignment. I see no reason that I have to applaud the rich getting richer as I watch a revolving door of coaches use us for a stepping stone, which is exactly the same thing CCS is doing. My hopes for CWT(and eventually CCS) are that things go downhill at their media darling jobs, so that there will be a possibility that they regret leaving USF, even if they only feel that way briefly.

  6. Back when they had Collaros and that tall string bean looking kid

ughhhhhhhh. You're talking about Tony Pike. That name is now chiseled into my brain because I watched that game at home and the announcers had the most torrential brocrush on him that I have ever seen. They probably mentioned his name like 300 times. It was like he was LebronTomBradyMileyKardashianPumpkinSpiceMcYoloWeezieKhalifaYogaPants Jr. I know the guy was good, but they were absolutely nauseating with their worship of that guy

  7. OK folks, I found a way to enjoy Bulls football. Open youtupe and play Yakety Sax while u watch!

    Also works for Bucs

Good thing about USF playing a night game and the Bucs playing at 1:00, is the first butt kicking won't have time to wear off by the time the second one starts. That way, it'll just feel like one colossal beating, instead of two separate beatings.
