Looks like we just took some random athletes and told them "go play football." We are obviously way more talented athletically than the other team, but look like we have no idea what the hell we are doing.

Meh. These other teams mean nothing to me. I think ECU is the only one I respect. They have nothing to give us and none have ever taken anything away from us. Aside from UCF, they give us nothing to love or hate. We all hate Rutgers, hold WVU at a mutual level of respect for past games, get mad about that packed house home loss to Cincinnati in 09...

Honestly, I don't even know who is in this joke of a conference with us anymore.

My aunt said she's seen a commercial a few times (during the softball games) that's a UCF commercial making fun of USF or something like that. Anyone have a link? I googled it but didn't find anything.

An indoor practice facility is not getting my vote. It's nice, it's pretty, it looks good...it's expensive, our players can take the heat, and the weather, we need to spend more money in other places.

White is up to 200lbs now too. I think we see a team hungry for a win.

Western Carolina- should be a solid win. They aren't really a "let me pick the best FCS team I can find" kind of team, like Monte State or whatever that team was that beat us last season. We haven't been able to throw another team around since 09, this could be that opportunity to score 50+ and get the guys pumped for....

Maryland- ok so Maryland was 7-6 last year, but they beat 3 ACC teams. This will be a game that might draw some people in to see if USF has really turned around. If we have made proper adjustments, we could pull a win. Maryland travels decent so it will be a fun game to attend.

NC State- I just don't really like them. The purple pirates play them too. If we can both pull out a win, that's 2 easy wins for the AAC. They could add some momentum to the student section attendance. 

@ Wisconsin- Solid test of the team. We will know early in the season if Willie has turned this new team around. It's going to be cold up there. USF typically doesn't fair well in cold climate games. Have we fixed that? Wisconsin has a ridiculously crazy fan base...they will be loud and proud and hopefully our new team can adjust. We'll see. I would really enjoy traveling to this game!

So there's my take on it. I'm fairly optimistic because of all the recent good news in USF football. I really like what Taggart is doing with this program. If all else fails, as long as we beat UCF, I'm happy.

This isn't a good sign. I know what he's trying to do, reach high school kids and all. But, the players on the team don't want to go back to playing in high school stadiums, they want to play in world class, college, multi-million dollar practice facilities that they have on campus. Hopefully, he can get a great recruit or two from this bush league move.

Very nice! I went to a womens match because they offered free pizza. It started to rain and there was no pizza, so we left. Not sure if the match was cancelled.

I'll be there, probably student section. Got amazing court seats last game. Wow.

I hope we pick up and win this game. Expect a loud student section.

What are his qualifications? All I could find is he has a bachelors degree from University of BFE - satillite campus
