Our program is not making me happy right now, BUT I am from central Florida. I grew up down the street from UCF. Whenever I'm feeling down about our football program, I thank God I do not go to UCF and can give my friends that go there hell.

Being at FSU for the win in Tally was one of the best moments of my life. I am a bull through and through. That being said my passion rating is dwindling for our current team. I support the program as a whole but they make me so angry sometimes.

If the entire USF fan base in the stadium Saturday can be half as pumped as we were at Doak in 09, I will be impressed. If we somehow manage to beat FSU....wow I don't even know...maybe I'll send Skip flowers lol

Was not allowed to bring my flamingo into the stadium. This thoroughly disappointed me. Why is my flamingo a "projectile" when people can make giant paper airplanes out of those GO BULLS advertisement signs they have out, and actually poke someones eye out?

I made a bunch of calls before I went on my quest. I drove out to Citrus to iParty and bought all the 7 they had for $1.99 each. Party city is a great place to get them for the next game: $1.69 and free shipping.

I could actually get behind the movement if they started referring to the USF Student Section as "The Beach." If they could get blow up palm trees, beach balls, and flamingos in there, it would be pretty awesome - just as long as TSA doesn't get all nazi and start confiscating/popping them. With 12,501 students, if they filled it up and there were even 10 palm trees and 15-20 flamingoes, I'd be okay with it - at that point it wouldn't be war flamingo, because that's just f_cking gay, but it would be a whole theme, and students could start wearing hawaiian shorts with their bulls shirts, girls could start wearing bikini tops (fatties gtfo), and maybe wear those cheesy bright colored sunglasses.

THAT as a WHOLE would be pretty cool....but also as long as they kept the party theme to between plays and such so they still paid attention to the game.

edit - plus a beach theme kinda makes the whole giant pirate ship not seem so out of place.

I like this. We live at a beautiful beach, why not flaunt it? I feel like a large population of our students and alumni throughly enjoy the beach, fishing, boating, etc. that Tampa offers us.

Overall, I hate Pitt the most, but it's probably because I don't respect Rutgers enough to actually hate them. The Rutgers games are always one of my most anticipated game of the season because somehow the games are always a big possible loss. I feel like we are so much better of the team then they are, but they still find a way to beat us.

Tonight I want to blow them out of the water.

I just watched the USF v Chattanooga game on espn3. I heard John Denver playing and was very happy.

I'm working on convincing a clothing company to sponsor us with a bunch of these to pass out. The flamingos will have their brand info printed on them, but the brand its self is very usf and tampa like anyways. The guys behind the company are good people so I would like to get them some advertising out as well. www.boatattire.com

Sooo I can't have them shipped here for free by the Rutgers game. But I found a place in Tampa that has 7 in stock so that will be all I can do in time for Thursday. Yall that want to get behind this need to bring you're flamingos to the game. I'm just calling them game flamingos for now and the people I give them to can call them whatever they want. We'll see what name takes hold. I contacted student government about passing some out next week too. If we can get our lowly 7 on tv at the game people might start bringing them. Otherwise I'll have to order more for the FSU game and pass them out.

I'd bring one. I like the idea because it's fun. It's supposed to be about FUN, not oh look we have a tradition that's cooler than theirs. FUN! What about Bull Flamingo instead of war flamingo if you don't like it.
