Holtz was bad but they still were in it until the end of most games.  CWT’s first season was awful but the second season started with MM running for 3 td’s and 275 yards against WCU and then we started to see some talent with a POwer I offense that was awful, at least the talent was evident.  I really don’t see any talent on the D side of the ball, he recruited Hector, Lee, Harris, Sanchez, Miami central kid  turned striker turned cardinal, etc… can’t remember all the names but you could see we had players, I just don’t see anything on the defensive side of the ball besides maybe Gordon and Dreads. Rest of them are poorly coached, out of position and slow and small.

    Holtz's problem was the humidity

So we have resorted to body shaming our football team? 🤣 ****, some of you guys need to attend that Hater's Ball from the Chapelle Show lol Geez man, what else is left to hate on? We hate the coaches, players, conference, recruiting rankings, our rival's success, A.D, stadium we play in, all ex-coaches, players bodies, and what else am I missing?

It's basically a matter of making getting the ushers trained properly, and to be consistent, a priority because it's been hit or miss since being at RayJay. Sometimes they're annoyingly diligent about checking tix going into the Club. Sometimes it's a pretty **** lax. I'm in 214 which is on the cusp of the auto Club access sections.

So are you saying this wouldn’t be an issue if we had an ocs? :stirpot:

The link in the op to the NCAA release seems to indicate that there is no longer a second half stipulation:

College athletes competing in Division I football can participate in up to four games in a season without using a season of competition, the Division I Council decided this week at its meeting in Indianapolis.

Division I student-athletes have five years to compete in up to four seasons of competition. The new exception allows football players to preserve a season of competition if, for example, injuries or other factors result in them competing in a small number of games.

Maybe there's more limiting details in the actual rule but you'd think that would have mentioned there. From that, it appears to be pretty cut and dried. Participating in only 4 games doesn't count as one of the 4 years.

That’s how I understood it as well.
