Curious what their influence could be on this. The buyout clause is set, so all they could do is say "hey don't do that.", right?

RayJay's website even says they give out free cups of ice (on the fan guide for "Attending an Event"). But I've had to argue with the concession workers about it, always told "I'm not supposed to but I will."

Even Disney World gives out free water (and in good portion, too).

Judy caught me wearing a Gators shirt my freshman year in Top of the Palms (in my defense, it was laundry day and I'm from Gainesville) and gave me hell about it and said she was going to get me a USF shirt instead. She didn't, but that would have been cool.  Have a trade program and a changing area right inside the gates.

Then during the game, burn them all.

Spent way too much time doing this at work today. Love it.

Yeah it's a weird situation because it literally worked a few days ago, and I didn't make any changes. Can't get a password reset email either. Going to chat or call tomorrow.

Was worried it was just me for a minute. Seems to be improving slightly.

And who knows what the hold up is for him getting that degree. Maybe he completed all his course work. Schools do some silly things to not confer those pieces of paper.

Took me an extra semester because of Bull crap at USF. (Bad pun definitely intended.) 

I completely understand. Hopefully, for his sake, it's something minor holding him up.

 

Yeah, but Betty Castor did not have a PhD, and she became president of USF.  A lot of hay was made about her lack of a PhD, but she was a very effective president at USF.

 

Rules are made to be bent, especially something as pathetic as no degree.  He has the work experience that makes up for the lack of degree.  Besides, his job title was BB coach, not professor or teaching assistant.

 

 

She didn't lie about having a PhD.  I think that is the problem here.  He might be a great coach but the degree is a requirement and he lied about it.

 

Not debating the legitimacy of the whole fiasco, but didn't we also say that Leavitt was fired not because of the supposed infraction but his dishonesty in the investigation process? (Again, not saying it was legit or not, but just stating the "official story"). USF really couldn't say that it's okay to be dishonest when we want to hire you, but it's not okay as an employee.

CWT will get a new deal when he earns himself a new deal. 

Right now, he hasn't done anything to deserve a new deal, nor does he deserve to be fired yet. Great teams are built in more than a single season.

Should be Rob Higgins as the next AD. So I am good with that. He has a lot of connections and has brought in a lot of events to Tampa. 

Maybe USF will drop all intercollegiate sports so Higgins can bring in a lot of events to the Sundome!!  

 

 

 The one thing that I am worried about the Higgins hire is that he may not care too much for a OCS for USF. He has worked with RJS over the years, so I would think he would want USF to continue to play at the BUCS stadium. So with that said, I will hold that against the Higgins hire. Everything else should be positive though. Maybe Higgins can get USF even a better deal with RJS. We shall see!!! 

 

Or, because he is USF he knows the importance of an OCS.

 

An OCS would also be another venue to attract people to Tampa.

 

Is that for the Bucs GM hire today?
