Shotguns on 4th and 1 are just prone to more errors.  Tush push... or the "Brotherly shove" is the way to go.

Except I can only think of one time we've been successful using that formation this year and I believe it was late in the Navy game. We tried it against Bama and got stuffed. We tried it against Navy and got stuffed. We aren't a powe running team. Clearly we aren't equipped to do the rush push so why keep trying. We can gain yards from the gun which is the normal offense

  2. I dont have a problem with Golesh going for it on 4th and short. What I hate is when he put the offense into the power running formation. It rarely works. We're a spread option team. Why not just run a RPO and let BB decide where to go with the ball. Teams know exactly what we're doing when we line up in the power formation and we're arent the Eagles.

  3. Defense is definitely improved but we still let up way too many big plays. We got lucky a few times today that Navy is so piss poor throwing. They left at least three TD throws on the field that were just wide open. I get part of that is we are facing a running team so you kind of want them to throw but it's been a reoccurring thing all year.

With that said. Our defense and team are night and day improved
