In other words, they want Memphis in and not USF.

With FAU going down to Temple, we are definitely NIT bound at this point.
On the bright side, we actually have a shot to win that thing. On the flip side, does anyone care about the NIT?

I'm not a gambling person, but the line on this game was ridiculous. I would have gladly bet on the Bulls outright. Let alone the money line.
No way we should've been the underdog.

Our fans need better discipline. They were chanting overrated when the game was far, far from over. I think it motivated FAU.

Beginning of the season, my expectations for the team was just make a bowl game and show some promise for the future. I'm glad to see that Coach Go is on the verge of accomplishing just that.

Stats nerds, where you at on going for it on the 9?
Almost always a bad idea this early in the game.
But it worked out for USF.

QB run up the middle on play two. oh boy.
Still got a problem with QB runs up the middle? It seems to be working.

Gimmicky plays from a very overmatched team.

Awful punt, but great outcome

I feel somehow less optimistic this week.
Were you ever actually optimistic?

Byrum Brown, sadly, is not the answer at QB for USF. At least not in the long term.

We were expected to lose this game and had a chance to tie late in the 4th.
This fanbase has impossible standards.

Nothing I saw today makes me believe that Golesh was the right hire. Didn't look any better then we did around the end of last season. We started out great but the last 3 quarters were a mess. If I remember early in the second quarter we were up 17-7 then got outscored 34-7 in the rest of the game. Not a good start for the Golesh era. Only positive maybe there is more grit on the defensive side. Brown was not good throwing the ball, but decent running. Overall QB play was disappointing
Lucky our schedule is much easier then last year so hopefully we can get some wins.
I think you've suppressed some really bad memories from last season. We were really, really, really bad.
I think we're winning more games than we did last season.

For his first game, I'm satisfied that he can turn this program around eventually. Clearly there are some missing pieces, but at least we're a better coached team.

I saw a little bit of it today, actually.
I don't really fault our defense in this one. They played tough and hit hard. It was somewhat reminiscent of the Leavitt days.

Nice start to the Golesh era... over/under on how many years he'll be here? I'd say two and out... to a P5 school.
As long as that P5 school is USF moving to the ACC or Big 12, I can live with it.

This is life in the blue bloods too. College ball ain't the same game anymore. College players are basically free agents and are chasing NIL money and playing time.
