Guys we can beat Miami, we can beat UConn, we can beat Pitt, hell I predict we run the table and go 8-4. Just need a few things to go our way........
........................................
Buahahahahahahahaha this team is going to lose 10 in a row, I mean just look at our body language out there on the field. No emotion, poor form, predictable offense/defense, lazy play, etc. This team has a 2-12 record all over it. What's even worse, is that this team SHOULD have lost to Nevada. They owned us for most of that game. So really, at the end of the year Skip is going to have what should have been a 1-11 record.
This, my friends, is rock bottom.
And if this season doesn't cost Skip his job, then this program is screwed big time.

for those who think that we can't lose this game.....I mean really?? This is a team that lost to BALL STATE this season, another MAC team which is pretty much what Temple is.
USF likely loses this game.

UCF is the king of moral victories. Let's not step into their territory.

I wish I could feel optimistic with a 7-5 record or close to it (which would be an overachievement given Skip's hold on the team) but I just can't shake this feeling that this team is in for a 10 loss season. Everything seems to be going in the wrong way with this team, and if you take away that Nevada finish this team is 1-4 with losses to two non-BCS teams. No matter what happens, this team plays down to its competition and every single game is a nail biter. Aside from the Nevada game, nothing is breaking our way.
2-10 is not out of the question and I think it's very possible we run the table on the rest of our schedule with losses. Pitt owns us. UConn owns us. Syracuse could beat us as long as Nassib is healthy. Cincy, UL, UM will destroy this version of the USF Bulls. Temple is winnable, since they are still essentially a MAC team, but didn't we just prove that we can lose to a MAC team two weeks ago?
I hope I'm wrong.

Another fan who gets it.
Skip aint no bull, that's for sure.
-
Didn't the Bucs play at home the next day? I bet it was Greg Schiano, trying to frame USF fans.

Does Skip even take his job seriously???

I just can't wait to see BJD gone and replaced with a QB with a little bit more of a brain. BJD's IQ is pretty bad....yeah I get that the coaching staff is misusing him and has minimized his development, but he really hasn't shown that he can learn either. Still the same guy from 2009, if not worse, since his speed isn't being used as much under Holtz.
I'm not sure what kind of QB Woullard is, but Skip needs a smart, pocket passer who can make accurate throws in order to succeed, I think it would make a huge difference for our offense as long as Skip remains here. Defense, on the other hand...........
-
Fire Holtz.
Bring in competent coaching that has ties to Florida recruiting.
The end.
-
Coaching staff major fail. Again.
You know, this game wasn't as out of hand as it may have seemed. Take away that stupid call that led to Floyd's turnover for a TD, and call more conservative plays before half-time so BJD doesn't cough up an INT that leads to a FG, that's 10 less points that we don't give up in a 13 point game.
-
as always, we will find a way to lose. They will run all over us, and we've already proved that we can lose to a MAC quality football team this season.
The 4th loss in our 10 game losing streak. It's all for the greater good though, which means the end of Skip.

If a loss to USF contributed to why they got rid of Bowden, maybe this time FSU can return the favor to us. hehehehe

Interesting tweet from yesterday

Will be talking football scheduling opportunities with colleagues from throughout country over next 2 days while at Dallas meetings
Just sent a reply
interesting. With the BE going to 12 teams for at least the next 2 seasons, that leaves us with 4 OOC opponents. I already saw that next year our OOC schedule is full. When Navy and the 14th team is added, I wonder if we are going to keep 8 conference games or go to 9?

"Garnet and gold is just a better combination than green and gold. Our defense had a hard time focusing on where the ball carrier was."
-
The defense didn't want to disrespect Native American culture.
lol, yep!
-
If we played in Ann Arbor, I could see Skip using an excuse along the lines of "it is just too loud to play a game with a crowd of 110,000+"
-
I couldn't stand the penalties that we got while under Leavitt, and felt that it was time for a change. Well now we are committing the same stupid penalties, but our defense is soft as hell and our offense is still predictable.
Give me Leavitt back. I'd rather suck while still winning 3-4 conference games per year and making a bowl game than the gargage I have to endure now.
-
count me in.
-
he will be fired after this year
How I wish you are right.

USF football is.........................8======D():

I hate BJ, but I agree that this loss wasn't on him. He plays pretty good against non-BCS teams anyways.

I think I'm going to just pop in the DVD from our '09 game instead.
-
Anyone here NOT think that this team is capable of doing this?
Wouldn't it be fitting to see us finish like this, in a year when we supposedly have so many advantages (most seniors, more BE home games, WVU replaces Temple, etc) going for us?
My only hope is that a 2-10 finish gets Holtz fired.
-
Daniels had a great day. The O showed up to play. The entire defense was terrible on every down. All of that said, the only games that matter are in the BE.
Go Bulls!
Are you serious man? We already lost our conference opener at home. Our best chance for a conference win is against Temple, and they were in the MAC last year, JUST LIKE BALL STATE IS!
One nice thought....

It really shouldn't be a big deal though, as our main competition in the Big East don't have many players that are draft worthy themselves.
