I doubt it was a Donor level decision. I am section 121 with no club seats. I got the nice Adidas box shipped by UPS.

I'm beginning to think that whatever company that was in charge of putting the boxes together, just sent some out in regular UPS boxes. Maybe they ran out of presentation boxes or the shipping boxes for the presentation box. Unfortunately, I was one of the ones that received a regular UPS boxes.

I posted this question on Twitter.  From what I’ve gathered was everybody was sent the same thing.   But if ups damaged the box.  Ups repackaged it.

Typically if a carrier (UPS, USPS, etc.) damages a package, they put the damaged package in another box. They don't take the contents out and repackage them.

Anybody else get their UPS package stuffed into a 3" UPS box? The bobblehead box is 4" thick.

Same here.   Really disappointed in what came in the mail compared to seeing what was already posted.  I guess my 8 tickets with club access isn’t enough to get a nice box presentation.

Same here. Was extremely excited to show off the nice presentation of the season ticket box with all of the swag, but completely disappointed with everything stuffed in a UPS bag that was stuffed in a UPS box. The bobblehead box was completely crushed - at least the bobblehead survived. Got the ticket holder, but no lanyard. Anyway, the most important items were accounted for - the season tickets and parking passes.

Wonder if the presentation box was only set to certain donor levels?

I obviously haven't done an audit of any sort, but just from casual observance, if you follow AAC social media at all, I've noticed over the years that UCF seems to have always had a higher profile and more mentions than any other league school. I always figured there was a UCF grad on staff up there or some connection.

Noticed the same thing with AAC social media.

  5. Coach Draper's record versus program to the east is 1-10 and winning only 8 sets out of 40 total sets played. USF still leads overall series 49-33.

    From Link:

The University of Central Florida's drug and alcohol policy states that the sale, service, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages shall comply with state and federal laws. This policy shall remain in effect for all home football games. However, county ordinances relating to open containers shall not be applicable or enforced during the following times, thereby permitting alcoholic beverages to be consumed during these authorized hours only by anyone 21 years of age or older.

    • For weekend games starting before 6 p.m., the open-container waiver shall be in effect from 8 a.m. until game start.
    • For weekend games starting at 6 p.m. or later, the open-container waiver shall be in effect from 12 p.m. until game start.
    • For weekday games (including Tulane on Oct. 7), the open-container waiver shall be in effect from 4 p.m. until game start.

I guess the open-container waiver will not apply to this game, since it starts at 3:30pm. Better be careful drinking on campus for this game. :)

To save college football, they need an 8 team playoff.  Start the season one week early and eliminate the bye week.  The top seven teams are based on the rankings, like now, multiple polls, strength of schedule, etc.  The 8th seed automatically goes to the highest ranked team of the best of the rest of the non-power 5 conferences.  Now EVERY Division 1A football team has skin in the game.  The dream is alive for all, just like in college basketball.

Still don't believe all FBS (Division 1A) teams will have skin in the game. Only true way for ALL FBS teams to have skin in the game, is to create a playoffs that includes all 10 conference champions.
