I'm sure you are all thrilled to see this thread title but nothing passes the time like an OCS thread and i think there are some points that warrant discussion:

1. Our atmosphere is garbage and its getting worse... Tons of empty red seats to embarrass the university on national TV.

2. For those who always stated we need a 50--55k seater... No we don't. We got 29k to a nationally televised in-conference game... I'd like a 40-45k

3. Athletics and Rayjay has created a situation where season ticket holders and especially donors are getting ripped off -- People can buy living social deals and easily sit in the lower bowl. I know most of us season ticket holders buy them simply to support the university but what is the incentive for the casual fan?

4. Scattering people all over a 65,000 seat stadium is stupid and further hurts the game day experience.

5. We have no home field advantage at Ray Jay.

Every passing game i see the need more and more.

oh and we got a 0.4 rating in 18-49 in primetime.

I agree on all points. I have 6 club seats at $45 each plus $1k donation. And someone can sit next to me for $15.... awesome

Actually, that's a pretty good indication of how much better Buchalter thinks of our program is than UCF's. He obviously graded on some sort of a curve. Our class was head and shoulders above the UCF class, based on the rankings. What he's saying is that we both can do one grade better but the ceiling is a lot lower on UCF than it is on us. If you reversed the classes, we would haven't gotten a 'C', if not lower, and UCF would have received an A+.

The guy on the other thread made it clearer..... If you have one child in the 2nd grade, another in the 6th grade and they both get a 'B' on their report card, it doesn't mean they're at the same intelligence level, does it?

maybe the better analogy is the kid in honors class and the kid in the do-do bird just-enough-to-get-by Class.  A 'B' grade is not the same
