Even though the result left alot to be desired,  you could feel the significance in the step the program took by being in a bowl.  How we played will be a distant memory before too long but to be at the first bowl game was special.

Can we still get tickets through the school or did they already send them back?  I just booked at great flight to Charlotte but I need a game ticket.  I would rather buy the ticket through the school so that it counts toward the USF sales.

He would be a second day pick if he came out this season.   If he came out after next season,  he could be a late first/early second which would be a huge financial difference.  I don't think he will make the same mistake Shurron Pierson made when he left too early.

swallow crow for what reason???   McCluster  decided that Ole Miss was the place for him.  I think he is making a poor decision but it is his decision not mine.  I wish him the best of luck and hopefully for him he will be able to take all of the losses in stride.

Scout has him at 6 foot 1.5 inches with a 40 time of 4.7   so maybe he is too short or too slow

FSU is BIG TIME college football!  Real HOME stadium (not some borrowed NFL condo with seats), REAL fans (15,000 season tickets??  We had more than that when we were 0-11 in 74).  Why should we play there?  If you want to come and collect a nice pay day (like La. Tech and UAB) and take a beating like men, then come to Tallahassee.  But I would warn Peter Rabbit to stay OUT of Mr. McGregors garden...... :

If FSU was not chicken sh** and would actually play us,  we would be happy to show them a thing or two.  For all the bragging FSU fans do,  they were NEVER ranked in the final AP poll until Bowden got there(look it up if you don't believe me).  I also think that after Bowden leaves we very well could take FSU's spot in the Big 3.

How do you know that he is not that good?   He has only had Julmiste throwing him the ball.  If we get a good thrower in here,  I think he will step it up big time.

Florida State has always played all comers since Bowden got there in the mid 70's.  That said since they played UCF one time in the mid 90's,  they have avoided the Florida schools that are not Florida or Miami.  I know for a fact we have tried to play them up there only(like Florida in 08 and 09) and we have tried to get a home and home but they have said no.  I am sure they are not scared but more likely is that they don't want any more competition for recruits.

They had an opening on their schedule for 2006 and we said we would play them up there in 2006 without a return trip but they said no.  Instead,  FSU has Florida, Rice, Western Michigan and Troy State as their Out of Conference opponents.  You may come to your own conclusions.

Luckily,  those who say 6 foot is too short did not mind having 5 foot 11 Marquel Blackwell  QB the team.  Below is an article about Jimmy Oliver.

What are some of these kids thinking?  The Gators have verbals from Riley Cooper, Jarred Fayson, Damian Williams,  Justin Williams,  Damon McDaniel and Percy Harvin.  These 6 kids are all 4 or 5 star players and all are wide receivers.  Wouldn't it make more sense for half of these kids to go somewhere else so that everyone will get playing time.  It is painfully obvious that at least 2 will have to transfer or get used to spending their college career on the bench.

Hopefully the QB situation will get straightened out in the Spring.  It will make for a very interesting Spring game.

I can only speak for the Scout site.  But I took the site over in mid summer and missed a lot of combines and spring games in this area.  I was working for a differnt schools site and the USF site on the scout network was non existant so it took a while to build up.  It wont happen this year, since Ill be around from day one after signing day.
