  1. CJ Spiller, Colin McCarthy and Riley Cooper are three examples of highly sought after recruits that are in the lower(1a, 2a or 2b) classifications.  Obviously there will be more players with D-1 talent in the high classes but just because someone comes from a lower class does not mean they can't be an excellent player.

  2. I don't know about you, but I was in Charlotte to support the Bulls.

I'm nota  USF Grad....never been a student there... just a fan/supporter...the very kind USF needs more of... who win or lose is in his seat till after the game is over ....

BullsFans I have been to every game since the first game against Kentucky Wesleyan.  I like you am not a USF grad,  stay from start to finish every game and you can tell from my post footer where my seat was in Charlotte.  I have lived in the area most of my life and I have adopted USF as my college football team.  I just hope that the rest of the area would buy into the program.

  3. UCF!!! I have only seen UCF paly football once (this year at RJS)

I  have never even remotely suggested that I wanted to see USF play without Andre Hall.

That must have been one hell of a fall you took.

Perhaps "Hooked on Phonics" would help you.

If you are indeed a Bulls fan and not a UCF fan then act like it.  This entire post subject you have been singing the praises of UCF while putting down USF.

BTW  I would be happy to trade insults with you but this board is for USF sports not personal attacks.

  4. Which proves what?  USF also cleaned Louisville's clock early in the season...and we all know how they finished their season while the Bull's stunk up the barn.

Imagine how USF would have done with out Andre Hall.

It's too bad he can't really say what he thinks.

You will get your wish when Andre is not on the team next season.  And while we are imagining,  why don't we imagine Bullsfans favorite team UCF without Kevin Smith.

I guess you are saying that we should not play September games because they are meaningless.  And I guess that we should imagine Texas tonight without Vince Young since he is their best player.  Your arguement is ridiculous.

  6. I believe they played last season(31-14) where USF totally dominated UCF.  If I am correct(which I am because I have the game stored on my DVR) the only scores by UCF was a Steven Moffitt run after a punt return by Burnette to the 5 yard line and a late TD after the score was 31-7.  If you guys(Bullsfan, Smazza and Cee) insist on rooting for UCF and putting down USF,  you should go to UCFsports.com.  I am sure that Mav Tech Knight, Sir Galahad, etc.  would love to have you.

Bullsfan - I quote myself just in case the message did not get through to you

  7. Lets see,  USF finished 5-3 in 2003 and then  3-5 in 2004 in C-USA.  UCF finished 7-1 in 2005 in C-USA and were the Conference USA  Champions something USF was unable to accomplish.....Light years ahead  you say.

  8. I find it somewhat disheartening that there wasn't even a QB mentioned, but in talking to BigShoop during the bowl game, he got it on good authority that Mr. Grothe hasn't taken things very seriously this season and hasn't shown himself to be any better of an option at QB

I find this very difficult to believe.  I saw him at every home game and the bowl game and he was following the game and not screwing around.  You continually get reports from local papers how he is looking good in practice.   Does anyone know if this post or the newspapers are correct?

  9. Like to re-iterate, if you didn't go, you truly missed something special.  You will never be able to go to USF's first bowl again.  Charlotte is a beautiful, clean city.  People are truly southernly hospitable.  My visit wasn't perfect but it will always be special to me.  Watching a competitive Bull's game is always an enjoyable experience.  And USF was in the game until the last min. which is how I define competitive.  Yes, they were only 3 plays to tying the game.  That's all it would of taken to get OT so I was not disappointed w/the team.  Now the offense is a different story.  But I digress.   I got chills when the team ran on the field.  It was a great experience.  And finally, Mutt, you should have won bro.  That NCStater geek that did win was bogus.

I agree Mutt should have won but since the public address was obviously an NC State fan since he had all of the NC State calls down You knew the NC State guy was going to win.   Also,  I had a great time with my fellow USF fans in section 312.
