  1. For the sake of the big east, I hope not

I have no idea how you could put this crappy, awful conference ahead of our crappy, awful team. Seriously, to hope Louisville beats us just for the Big East sake is moronic

maybe he wants holtz gone, so he's thinking of the team :D

We are in the middle of tv negotiations , if you like it or not the big east is our home for the foreseeable future. Our conference needs the most national exposure it can get including having 2 ranked teams square off in a few weeks (cincy and the ville). 1 win does nothing for us and knocks Louisville out of the rankings . And like the previous poster said the more games we lose the faster we get rid of skip.

  2. Greg Swaim â€@GSwaim

#ND source say there were some informal talks a while back with #ACC, but not about joining. "Zero interest in joining their conference."

Oh, and Swaim has been so spot on with his "source". I think his source is a Ouija Board. Has he gotten anything right? Answer no. Now Yahoo has a little more to lose if this is a made up story. i wouldn't have posted it, if it were some more GS hooey. No offense Ernesto, I just think we need to keep that crackpot out of future discussions.

Didn't you blast me 2 weeks ago for discrediting @gswaim? what side of the fence are you on?

  3. The latest RUMOR is that it will be Louisville that joins the Big 12 with FSU, and Notre Dame will also joing the Big 12 in all sports except football with a certain number of non-conference games against B12 opponents every year. The latest RUMOR is that the news will break late June/early July. With help from their politician and Oklahoma, Louisville has managed to beat out Clemson as the FSU partner.

*** Note that this is not a confirmed done deal being reported by the standard media. (They will catch up in a few weeks after everyone else knows.) ***

Looks like @Gswaim is reporting this and he has yet to get anything right.

I have followed him for eightteen months, and he has been right on everything. The only realignment he did not report in advance was Pitt and 'Cuse to the ACC. He doesn't have sources in the BE or ACC. But he has nailed everything in the B12, long before anyone else reports it.

Every week he says a new scenario so he is bound to get it right. A year ago he was saying USF would be in the big 12 when they expanded to 16. He has linked Louisville to the ACC, SEC and big 12 in the last 6 months. A tweet from a week ago...

@MikePrice76: @GSwaim where do you think Louisville goes? BigXII or ACC?" // ACC eventually.

a tweet from a year ago

"@1rodneyk: @GSwaim why not south Florida?" // I'd guess #USF in for round 2 next summer.

  5. Last 3 tweets from Josh Newberg...

Teddy Bridgewater will be hosted by freshman standout Terrence Mitchell while on his OV to #USF.

I'm hearing Anthony Chickillo could make it over to #USF for an unofficial visit while Teddy Bridgewater is on campus. I'll know more later.

I can confirm MNW QB Teddy Bridgewater is in Tampa for an official visit to #USF today. He'll leave tomorrow.
