 IF CWT finds a way to lose to FAMU then he should be fired on the spot right after that 1st game. Seriously.

CWT is 0-3 at home against FAU in his coaching career actually. He beat FIU 10-9 I believe when he was at WKU.

 

This is terrible!!! Why didnt USF look at this when they decided to hire CWT? Cant afford to lose to state teams. Especially being 0-2 to in state schools at home. Leavitt's record against schools fromt he state of Florida is freaking amazing. He went undefeated against FAU, FIU, UCF, FSU, but could not beat Miami for some reason. He still had a great record against the state of Florida. We got rid of that over a slap!

They  got rid of him because he failed to win the conference.  A conference much better the one we can only beat Tulsa, SMU and a bad Uccon

If George O'Leary doesn't retire in the next four years, he will have coached longer at UCF than Jim Leavitt did here.

This is the worst possible stage in our program's history. The recruiting isn't horrendous by any means, but our QB situation isn't going to improve unless we get a JUCO, or a blue chip out of thin air who can start as a true frosh. The (unjustifiable) playcalling and (maybe excusable) personnel decisions by CWT have sabotaged the confidence of our current QBs and perhaps ruined them. Taggart according to everyone basically has a year, and with our schedule and roster issues, it just doesn't seem possible. With these in mind, it becomes logical to ask:

In late 2015, is USF even close to the destination it was in late 2012 for a coaching search?

The prospects are not good.

I think for the duration of COA's coaching career here, uttering 'burial mound' should be a bannable offense.

If in a year or two there is a decision between firing Taggart, or keeping him on a bit longer and dedicate the buyout/new hire funds to Antigua, well, sorry football. Coach O can not leave this program.

The coaching suuuuucks. The putting Flowers in on the second drive, the reverse BS call after White was hurt, the defense playing with the safety out of position. Feel sorry for the kids, a competent coach would have them further progressed and bowl eligible. And wouldn't have lost to an fcs team last year.

Enough with the McNeese-invoking. Diminishes credibility every which way. That whole season was a purge. We could be bowl eligible this year and that wouldn't matter.

Yeah guize, I'll attend the final game of the season but that's it(!) I swear I will not attend any of the nonexistent games in the offseason.

This is going to be the longest offseason ever.

It's bowl game or bust for taggart and if we're undercoached again we'll have to rebuild all over again, not be relevant until year two aka 2017 and face another player exodus, and by then we'll have had a ghost stadium for a half decade and no players on the roster recruited under the bcs tag. The nightmare is real. Prepare.
