My sentiments exactly. Ain't it grand? As much as I wanted our Bulls to win today, it's nice to see our champion stay intact as such.

But GO CARDS!!

So as I sit here doing the best I can do and "watching" the game on ESPN GameCast and all but ignoring the ACC and SEC championships I've been switching my TV between, I'm rockin my Go Bulls playlist, which consists of:
Malagueña (as played by the OK State marching band, an arrangement similar to ours)
Bulls on Parade (Rage Against the Machine)
Wooly Bully (Sam the Shame and the Pharoahs)
El Toro Caliente (as played by the MMB, another similar arrangement)
And of course, USF's Alma Mater, Fight Song, and March Victorious, available for download through the Alumni Association.
Anything that needs to be added? What are y'all's gameday playlists?

can anyone explain to me why the game is not televised?
my sentiments exactly. Anyway you slice it, This game, between the Big East champ and the Bowl-Eligible Bulls deserves the ESPN slot far more than the overrated Cards and a team fighting for bowl eligibility. With the exception of the Pac10 game, WVU is the highest ranked team in non-conference championship action today and yet... nothing.
That being said, my cheer for gameday:
Go Bulls! Beat WVU!
Just like Uncle Dad used to!

Definitely Meineke for me, but then I live in Greensboro nowadays, and was going to go there just for my football fix at the beginning of the season when there was no expectation that my Bulls'd be there. Now, it's just an added bonus!!
And given that Clemson or NC State are our projected competition for that bowl, it's practically a home game for either of them. We're looking at walking into a sea of orange or red...
::cracks knuckles:: I like those odds. Let's pack the house, Bulls!
WOO...HOO... Leavitt Limping into...

I think you're right in that we are settling; we very well could be celebrating a BCS bowl berth right now, and we SHOULD at least coming off of a loss in the unofficial Big East title game. That being said, you bring up Weis turning around ND in one year. There's a big difference between turning around a program quickly and building a program quickly. It's rehab/rebuilding vs. building/creating. By your logic, if your kid can't graduate high school at the age of 9, he's retarded.
I don't deny that we could have had better, but I for one will be glad to see the Bulls in Charlotte.
