  1. Collin, Josh here. Please don't make fun of my hometown. You know how sensitive I am. My shrink doesn't need anymore overtime. While you're there, try to grab a pepperoni roll or 2. They are really quite a novelty. Dogg25
  2. Take that deal. Just don't try to argue you have a tough schedule or that Marshall is a "worthy" opponent. All I know is they are extremely unhappy about it.
  3. A few things about this.  First, WVU has the perception of a BS schedule because it plays in the BE.  It is hard to have a "strong" schedule when you are in a "weak" conference.  Secondly, just like USF, WVU had teams drop them last year, had potential top 25 teams leave the schedule for the ACC, and has a govenor that schedules in state games against Marshall.  Not much anyone can do about that.  I imagine all teams have similar problems at some level. Now, the season is early so to suggest that losing to Mich State is bad or stated teams beating no one yet is flawed on many levels. If Mich State wins the Big 10, do you still consider that Pitt loss bad? How can you tell which teams are good or bad after only 3 weeks? Heck, anyone hanging their hat on a Miami win right now is jumping the gun a bit. They are playing terribly. You, like most others, are judging how good a team is on reputation alone.
  4. How about constantly being reminded the teams in the conference play no one?  Ask WVU.  Do you think they are happy about having a govenor force them to play Marshall year after year?  While it may be difficult to replace right now, it will be impossible to replace them if they remain on the schedule.  Bigger schools don't want to play USF and look at the team the same way USF looks at UCF....just a big cycle.
  5. Keeping in mind that USF was supposed to finish next to last in the Big East, I am happy with the season. In my opinion, USF has over-achieved all year. Looking at the schedule this year, with the exception of Louisville, I'd have to say the team performed as I would have expected. There are over 100 teams right now writing the same things many people here are. The facts are USF is not a top 25 team, CJL has pulled more out of very average players than many coaches have, and the team is just not ready for the expectations many people placed on them. Sure, we could have won the Big East but we didn't. Every team hopes they win the title when the season starts but only 1 does win. It is a process, one that USF is still learning.
  6. Why yes, for the time being Miami will have more at their games. Not because of interest, but because Ray Jay only has 65,000 or so seats. That being said, I am just curious what attendance Miami had in their 9th season?
