The refs were as bad as i've seen all year...on par with the refs from the Marquette game. Horrible.

Let me get this straight...I should attend something I don't like because it involves USF? Does the same apply to tennis? Golf? Sailing? Soccer?  Should I attend those, even though I don't like them, but do it simply because it's USF?

I don't know what your schedule/obligations are like , but I don't drop money or time on something I'm not interested in.

Lets remember how horrible the stats were BEFORE Teachy took over. Teachy, on the year, had pretty decent numbers. Not as good as years past, but not bad considering the position we were in.

I have watched a bunch of games this year and you can see some talent on the floor.  At times it doesn't look very organized, but there is talent there.

What we are missing more then anything is a guard who can score of the dribble.  Boozeman can't do it.  Howard def can't do it.

Buckley can a little bit...  

If MAC could just get a guy that can score of the dribble he would have himself a decent squad.

That was the first time in the 4 years I have watched his team play, that i have said, "this team has a bit of an upside."

Now unless he really falls apart down the stretch -- he is probably going to be back.  Mostly because of economics.

But there are a lot of games left for him to really crap the bed.  ND might get ugly.

Also, I've been a skeptic of Mattis, but today he played his most complete game yet. His lack of a jump shot is less appearant when we've got other people hitting shots.

Smith, I believe has six years with USF and as an alumni of WVU, his move wasn't surprising.

Smith is an alumni of Glendale St. where he played for Rich Rodriquez...not WVU

There will be no visits this weekend. The team will travel to Tallahassee on Saturday for Keeley's funeral.

He didnt complain all week, he complained for a few minutes in his post game press conference after beating the number 15 team in the nation. He got more publicity out of that than the team would have b/c of the win(which he said he felt bad about). Ron and Ian and Duemig started the next day talking about USF womens basketball. Duemig trashing the entire sport, Jose, and Title IX, but he still talked about it. I dont know what the problem was, but I'm sure it will get straightened out.
