  1. Remember back in the day say maybe 20k would show up for a game and a group of students would run around the lower bowl sectiong of the stadium, like a giant conga line. Yeah I do too what ever happened to that semi-tradition? But umm back on topic we need to stop playing at rayjays house.

  2. Umm from gville and went to just about every home game in the 80's and the gators sucked ppl went to the games expecting to loose if we won it was great if they lost it was a still a party. Not a lot to do in gville. That being said they still had empty seats today lots according to ppl that went to the game and you could walk up and buy a ticket.

  3. On a lighter note South end zoner here. I had a blast when we still had a chance and the whole crowd sang "Living on a Prayer" by: Bon Jovi! My nine year old had a blast! This really showed me we could unite as fans when needed and I have been going to the games since 98'. Gave me chills seeing this unity really my seat neighbor grabed my hand and yelled "living on a prayer!" Futile but non the less fun!

  4.

Just curious on who everyone pulls for...especially on a particular game across the pond on Sat.

I'm not really one to pull for the Orlando school or some of the others, but with our school being looked at as a lower class, I'm pulling for all the AAC and the underdogs.

I root for all AAC teams in their OOC games.

Then, for in-conference, I want UCF to lose all of their games and USF to win all of them.

    This.

  5. I'm sure we could come up with our own story behind it. Starting with the mojo they brought from the Auburn win to one allegedly coming to life afterward and flying to Orlando and crapping on O'Leary's head before bursting into flames.

Sound legit to me! Didn't you love how the war eagle imediatly dove to the ground and died yet his legacy lives on just as the USF flamingo will!

  6. The story tells of a Civil War veteran and his pet eagle he had found on a battlefield and rescued. During the game, the eagle soared into the sky over their field as the Auburn football team simultaneously charged the Georgia end zone and achieved their first, exhilarating win over Georgia. After the Tigers’ victory, the eagle suddenly nose-dived, crashed into the field and died. But the “War Eagle†lived on in the hearts and spirits of proud Auburn fans everywhere.

Oh and Auburn has three mascots the tigers, the war eagles, and the plains men.
