Nope sorry...working the outback bowl for mom and dad (do it every year...gotta love family business and waking up at 4 am on new years aggh!) and then flying out to orange bowl the next day.

All I know is that they pretty much hate us up there from ruining their season last year.  I know this first hand.  Made 6-dozen cookies for the bf and his team after they beat WVU...all his teammates were scared to eat them in fear they were "poisoned by a malicious south florida bull"...Sorry but I'd go for a rivalry with U of L any day over UCF

I just read this in the game program like 10 minutes ago...WEIRD!

I'd like to think our rival is U of L...we're 2-2 with them, with neither team able to beat the other on the road, and they were our conference USA opponents.  Plus we gave them the biggest butt-whooping they've had in years.

I'm thinking 8-10k...eh 10k being generous.  I'm thinking 8k

-USF Cheerleading sweatshirt from our coaches (we all had em on during the pre-game pep rally)

I know a lot of our fans didn't attend the game in Birmingham due to the location, it being so close to Christmas, traveling expense, etc., but lets think in the "what-ifs" here...what if we have clinched the Big East and were heading down to the Orange Bowl in Miami to play on the 2nd.  How many fans do you think we'd bring? I think we have a legitimate to win the Big East next year, especially when we've got U of L and WVU at home(although this season we proved we can be effective and win on the road thanks to the WVU win).  How many fans do you think we'd bring to the BCS game 6 hrs away?

And it's a sad situation because it could have been just sooo much better and the whole bowl could have generated so much more revenue from things like having pizza, better/more merchandise for fans, more activities planned during the week.  Overall though, we have great fans who have a great time no matter what.  The important thing is that we were able to have all those great fans together in one weekend to celebrate what USF football is all about

They had 2 locations in the entire stadium from what I was told...coming from someone whose family is in the bowl merchandising business, I was in shock.  It seemed as though the company that put it together did so last minute.  For us, the planning is done in a year in advance, and we have 36+ locations throughout the inside and around the stadium.  Oh yeah, and merchandise up for sale on the internet a month in a advance (for a cheaper price than the gameday price) -

My boyfriend calmed me down on the phone when I read him this...boy it had my blood boiling. He reminded me that Rutgers fans were throwing cups of pee at the U of L cheerleaders this yr

I was on the field as well and I have to disagree....our section sounded like a freight train at times!

Actually there were 2 Rockys for the game...1 did the first half the other did the 2nd.  The guy you're talking about is the one with all the dance moves. He's not graduating, don't worry. Great guy, so talented. It's just so funny to seem him come alive in that costume...the same goes for the other Rocky who did the first half. Both of them are kinda quiet and reserved, and you'd just never expect them to let loose like that in front of all those people. They really did a great job though didn't they?

Ya I think Gregory will be a solid backup...I'm anxious to see what he can do!
